Thank you for taking the time to check out the Team Website for the Chad 2023 trip. City for the Nations is traveling to Chad in September to train the Church Planters that are a part of a pilot project to reach the unreached in Chad. We have a large team from three cities joining us.
There are currently 80 Unreached Unengaged people Groups in Chad. Working with Joshua Nations, we launched a 10 team church planters project and are already seeing fruit.
This trip will be for continued training for the church planters, to get reports and testimonies, as well as minister to them and their wives. They have asked that we bring a group of women with us just to minister to their wives.
This will be an exciting and awesome time working with the Church Planters and their wives as we continue to reach the unreached with the Gospel of Christ.

They spent 3 years in Kazakhstan with their two boys and have done other short term trips to various places. They are currently involved in mobilizing prayer for the nations. Chuck leads a weekly prayer group for the 10/40 Window that began five years ago and is now focused on Chad.

Bruce Scott
I came to Christ as a young man and have been purposed with passion to love others in presenting the gospel as a servant. “Grace without truth is meaningless, and truth without grace is mean.” (Chris Hodges, my pastor at Church of the Highlands) I believe this completely. We are saved by grace through faith compelled to do the good works God sets before us.
I am currently a Financial Advisor with Wells Fargo. I have been in business and finance for over 20 years both in investments and with the military as a tax advisor and in acquiring helicopters. I am also a helicopter pilot. I speak Spanish as a second language and have a heart for international missions especially in the 10/40 window, Africa, and Central and South America. I have been involved in these mission efforts since I was in my 20’s. Last year, I climbed Mount Kilimanjaro with my son in Tanzania and fell in love with Africa at first sight. I was born in Venezuela and have lived in Panama for over 3 years. I also hiked the Inca trail this time last year.
Though from a broken and dysfunctional home, I have been happily married for 37 years with 4 children, one child from the foster program. We have 4 and a 1/2 grandchildren which demand we stay young at heart and as young as possible in body. My wife is looking forward to our participation in the City for Nations mission as well. She has been a teacher and librarian for over 30 years. I am so blessed and so undeserving. How could I not tell others about my good, good Father.
