What is an unreached people group?

Scripturally, the term “nations” refers not to geographical countries, but to distinct “ethno-linguistic” groups – people with their own language, culture, and heritage. Missiologists define a people group as … “the largest possible group within which the gospel can spread as a viable church planting movement without encountering barriers of understanding or acceptance."

COTW is a coordinated effort of willing ministries who share strategic data on Christian and church presence with the purpose of planting a church in every people and every place.  City for the Nations is proud to be a member of COTW.

UNREACHED PRAYER MOVEMENT OF 1000 INTERCESSORS

We pray for the UNREACHED people groups (UPGs) of the spiritually darkest places on Earth. We are committed to PRAYER that is specific and timely for the breakthrough happening in these unreached nations. We are a part of a MOVEMENT that multiplies - intercessors mobilizing and connecting with other intercessors. Ultimately, our aim within each city is to have an army of 1000 intercessors each praying for 30 minutes a week and covering UPGs in 24/7 prayer.
