Please pray for Niger and the Sahel as instability and violence continue to escalate in neighboring Mali, deeply impacting the region. Over the weekend, militants carried out the largest coordinated attack in over a decade, striking multiple locations across the country.

During the attacks, Mali’s defense minister was killed in a targeted bombing at his home, highlighting the severity and reach of the violence.

2. Over the next three years in Phase 2, our focus is to strengthen what has been started and build an infrastructure to support long-term health, sustainability, and multiplication. Sustainability through Kingdom business, leadership development and coaching systems, multiplication of groups and churches, re-engagement of fragile groups, and strengthened oversight. Wisdom, unity, and effectiveness as these priorities are implemented, and growth in both depth and fruitfulness of the work.

Niger

Late last year, Brother Bashir, a new believer from the village of Guekolo in the Maine-Soroa pilot area, was injured during a Boko Haram attack on his village. He was shot in the arm, and despite medical efforts to save it, the injury was too severe and his arm had to be amputated. Pray especially for Bashir and other believers who have suffered violence. Ask the Lord to bring physical healing, emotional restoration, and deep spiritual perseverance. Pray that their faith would remain strong and that they would experience His presence, comfort, and peace in every way.

I have been experiencing an unusual but lingering physical fatigue for a bit over a month now, despite regular exercise and other physical improvements. I'm concerned about sleep quality as a likely culprit and a pursuing a sleep study to see if that's it. Pray for quick movement on that process and that I would be able to serve Tori, Leander, and the office well while it is resolving.
